Owner and stylist, Maria Amato, realized her dream of opening a salon in downtown Allenhurst, NJ in 1980. Over the years, she’s attracted a tight-knit team of stylists who’ve shared in her vision of making Back Room Studio a place where you can get the latest styles while feeling like you’re home.
Specializing in both traditional and en vogue styles and coloring techniques, the team is driven by their passion to make every client look their best while feeling even better.
